Valeur crétoise: In greek means the value of Crete. This is the name of our new product. Extra virgin olive oil with the seal of our olive mill, which is a choice of the acclaimed chef Iosif Sikianakis, who divides his time between Greece and America. Chef Sikianakis selects and recommends Valeur crétoise for the creation of excellent Mediterranean cuisine dishes and unique sauces for fresh salads.
Our new product comes from semi-mountainous olive groves in central Crete and is produced using the cold pressing method in our olive mill. Cold pressing maintains the purity of the product intact as it is not affected by heating or chemicals. Cold pressed olive oils are in a class of their own, they have a particularly low acidity and are immediately distinguished by their smell, color and taste.
